Streamline the User Provisioning process in Oracle Applications with workflows that automate approvals and safeguard your business against Segregation of Duty Violations, data breaches, fraud, and other security risks.
Robert Enders - Sr. Client Services Director
Fulcrum Information Technologies, Inc. (FulcrumWay)
Oracle Applications include security forms that are used to manually create, modify, and disable user accounts and their responsibilities across Oracle applications. This standard user-responsibilities assignment process is inefficient and inconsistent where users are granted access without necessary policy checks and approvals. As the security risk in growing with the adoption of Cloud and Mobile, businesses are looking to streamline the user provisioning process by consistently enforcing access policy, such as segregation of duty (SOD) rules, before violations get introduced into the ERP environment, controlling sensitive business information to potential threats and vulnerabilities.
In this session you will learn to automate on-boarding, off-boarding and other administration user processes such as new hires, transfers, and promotions. We will share techniques to automatically aggregate and correlate identity data from HR, CRM, email systems and other “identity stores.” You will also learn to streamline the User Access certifications that are a critical requirement of many data security and privacy regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, and others. By regularly validating the appropriateness of user access privileges, your organization can effectively meet audit and compliance requirements and improve its overall risk posture.

PBCS allows easy install, maintenance and upgrades without big infrastructure investments. See how a client migrated from on premise to Planning and Budgeting Cloud. The project started with a clean-up effort on objects such as forms and reports, then migrated to 184.108.40.206 on a lab environment and then to PBCS using LCM. The ODI interfaces were updated and Business Rules were migrated to Calc Manager. Metadata, over 250 forms and 140 reports were migrated, not all successfully due to PBCS limitations. Hear about the work-arounds, tips and tricks and how the build and roll-out for this project was completed in 8 weeks.
